St Catharine’s College is seeking a Library Assistant to join the Library & Archive team. Duties will include issuing and returning items, answering enquiries, processing books, shelving and shelf-tidying. The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, four hours per day, preferably in the mornings. The postholder will work in the Library during Term, the week before, and the week after.
Excellent interpersonal skills, consistency and accuracy, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently are all essential. A strong interest in libraries and/or archives is a prerequisite. Previous experience of an academic library would be desirable.
